The Clinic Nurse's role is to handle all patient concerns, from assessment and referral to the laboratory to the physician on duty. Take charge of the generation of results and compliance reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic
information when needed. - Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.
- Update APE/ECU appointment calendars and schedules.
- Coordinates with client POCs on any endorsements sent for a medical examination.
- Willing to be trained in the use of clinic processes and systems, i.e. Dashlabs,
Medbase, Netsuite - Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating,
cashiering etc. - Maintains a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. - Works with a team to complete daily results trackers until classification.
- Facilitates doctor’s consultations.
- Primary Care Giver. Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients; measures
vital signs, anthropometrics, and visual acuity. - Responds to basic patient queries and concerns.
- Handle patient complaints accordingly and make proper referrals if needed.
- Authorized HMO Representative. Prepares and secures requests and approval for
specific procedures required by HMO. - Reconcile daily census for billing purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Background and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, preferably with Clinic/ Hospital experience
- Willing to work on weekends if needed
