Duties and Responsibilities
● Provides secretarial and administrative support. Duties include scheduling, coordinating, and performing multiple tasks requiring close attention to detail.
● Perform duties of receptionist, handle incoming calls and queries, scheduling patient visits, greeting and directing visitors, and other clerical duties.
● Give basic information on treatment packages to patients.
● Enters data into the system and ensures accuracy, generates reports and processes inquiries.
● Prepare patient’s billing and settle charges.
● Collate, prepare and submit reports to Philhealth, PCSO, DSWD & HMO.
● Assist members/ patients of inquiries about Philhealth/PCSO, DSWD & HMO requirements and policies.
● Receives, examines and evaluates claims for payment of various benefits or other benefits under Philhealth insurance programs;
● Advises medical providers, claimants and others on rule, procedures, policies and laws concerning the insurance program; authorizes or denies medical treatments, surgery, medical equipment, requests additional information, medical examinations or other actions.
● Ensure monthly hospital claims are met.
● Responsible for filing of hemodialysis claims, follow up of reimbursements and pick up of checks.
● Assist hemodialysis patients by checking their requirements for Philhealth, PCSO, DSWD & HMO.
● Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
● Checks eligibility of PHIC patients by checking portal
● Handles cashiering and billing in Bizbox
● Acts as a single Point of Contact for check monitoring and PHIC transactions, PCSO, DSWD & HMO.
● Monitor PHIC utilization of patients to ensure eligibility
● Liaison for PHIC (monitor status of claims), PCSO (validates guarantee letter and other PCSO transactions), DSWD & HMO transactions.
Qualifications
● Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or any technical course related to business and finance
● At least 1 year of solid working experience in the related field is required for this position.
● Ability to work onsite and extend beyond company operating hours when needed.
● Willing to work onsite at GRRI HD Center - Kawit
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
● Outstanding communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
● Exceptional critical thinking skills and is able to investigate root causes and recommend solutions.
● Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
● Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
