Job Overview
The Business/Systems Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Lead Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments
Duties and Responsibilities
Convert business requirements into a high level process flow end to end
Business process gap analysis
Assist in developing frameworks and templates
Process mapping
Process integrator between business and technical team
Process documentation using Visio, word and PPT
Coordination and management of IT's various accounts
Convert business requirements into actual technical specifications
He/She must have a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices.
Responsible to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity based on the requirements provided by Business.
Help Project Manager on the following:
examine existing IT systems and business models;
analyse systems requirements;
undertake Application development;
implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree from a 4-year college (B.A or B.S), and 2+ years of in-depth business knowledge and system design, preferably in the Transactional services or eCommerce space.
- At least 3 year of experience as Business/Systems Analyst in development and production environments
- Able to interpret and write functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects
- Able to analyze, design and formulate detailed programming specifications and documentation a logical approach to problem Solving (process flow)Requires strong leadership skills and consulting skills.
