Medical technologist performs specimen analysis and laboratory results become the basis of physicians to determine the presence, extent, or absence of disease and monitor the effectiveness of treatment or management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Approaches tasks with a high level of diligence, responsibility, and a proactive attitude, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Adheres to strict ethical guidelines and maintains confidentiality, ensuring patient information and laboratory results are kept private and secure.
2. Customer Engagement: Maintains a positive and respectful attitude toward patients and colleagues, showing empathy and understanding in all patient interactions.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Communicate in a professional and polite manner with patients. Able understand English language demonstrated through verbal, written, and reading skills. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from a recognized and distinguished university. 2. At least 6 months of valid experience working in a hospital laboratory or clinical laboratory (primary or secondary level). 3. Must have successfully passed the Medical Technology Board Exam, demonstrating competency in the field.
4. Amenable to work from Mondays to Saturdays from 8:00AM to 5:00PM in Greenfield District Mandaluyong City.
