Job Objective:
The outpatient nurse provides basic nursing care to patients in a clinic setting. They assist doctors during consultations, perform vital signs of monitoring, administer medications/ vaccinations, and ensure smooth patient flow and comfort during their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Assist doctors during medical check-ups and monitor procedures
- The administrator prescribed medications and injections.
- Prepare and clean equipment and treatment rooms.
- Educate patients on heath maintenance and medications instructions
- Coordinate referrals and schedule follow up appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality.
- Ensure infection control and clinic safety protocols are followed.
Background and Qualifications:
- Must be a registered Nurse (RN) with valid PRC license
- At least 1 year nursing Experience, preferably in a clinic outpatient setting
- Basic life support (BLS/ ACLS) certification is advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, organized, and able to work in a fast- passed environment
- Computer literate and familiar medical records is a plus
