Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs sleep studies (PSG)
- Writes/reviews sleep tech report
- Directly responsible for the PSG machine and its peripherals and consumables
- Prepare supplies before sleep study (keep materials ready including wires, adhesive tapes, conduction paste, etc.)
- Arrange/disinfects equipment and peripherals after the sleep study
- Delivers/demonstrates portable sleep tests (Level 3 device) to patients
- Demonstrates sleep products including CPAPs, masks and accessories in-facility
- Assists patients in basic troubleshooting of sleep devices and products in-facility or through calls
- Liaises with service engineers for CPAP cleaning & calibration and CPAP repair
- Responsible for physical inventory (e.g. CPAP machines, CPAP accessories, PSG consumables.)
- May perform multiple sleep latency test and maintenance of wakefulness test (MSLT/MWT)
- May perform electroencephalogram (EEG) studies
Background and Qualifications
- Preferably with experience in sleep lab
- Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist
- Fluent in English and Filipino
- Preferably with valid driver's license
