Job Objective / Purpose
The Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information on the company's products and services to various stakeholders, such as health care providers, and patients.
The position is primarily responsible for the accreditation of doctors for the different business units of the company. This includes recruitment, engagement documentation, orientation of accredited doctors to company policies (medical and administrative), accreditation of doctors to HMO and HBA partners, monitoring of consultant's performance and providing necessary alignments to doctors as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Medical Affairs Manager will report directly and work jointly with the Medical Director in carrying out the following responsibilities and any other duties as assigned:
ADMINISTRATIVE/OPERATIONS
- Work jointly with the Medical Director in developing and implementing innovative procedures, regulations, and programs to improve efficiency, quality, and customer value
Identify study-related regulatory and quality issues, managing complaints and any subsequent legal actions - Function as a liaison between the clinic staff,physicians and management for administrative issues
DOCTOR ENGAGEMENT
- Developing the best possible working relationships between the organization and physicians, especially key opinion leaders.
Support the clinical and sales team in engaging with physicians, and stakeholders - Find ways to promote and position the company as the preferred healthcare provider for primary and preventive care.
MEDICAL RESOURCE
- Act as a medical resource by providing medical and scientific advice to the clinic staff
Evaluate and review new processes and medical innovations and make appropriate recommendations for promotional and educational materials of the company. - Keep abreast of new studies and developments on medical techniques and practices which are applicable to the company.
Background and Qualifications
- Candidate must be a Doctor of Medicine; PRC registered with a certificate as Fellow and/or Diplomate of a relevant specialty society
- At least 5 years of solid, preferably experience from healthcare services,medical management and provider relations work
- Excellent and effective communication skills (oral and written form)
- Have strong analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen interest in the latest scientific developments and trends.
