The Patient Care Officer plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience in Healthfirst Clinics. This role is responsible for coordination with different internal groups, educating, orienting, and billing the patient/client of the Medical Exam (APE/PEME) to be done to him/her. Facilitate and ensure that all tests/packages of the client are done.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Registration and validation of client
2. Bill the client accurately
3. Check the completeness of LOA/SOA
4. Perform Nursing procedures
- Vital signs, HT and Wt
- Eye Exam
- ECG procedure
- Skin Test
- Vaccinator
5. Relay provincial results
6. Schedule UL PEME/routing slip/barcode
7. Update trackers
8. Audit documents
Background and Qualifications
- PRC Registered Nurse is preferred but underboard and/or graduate of any medical allied course are welcome to apply
- Detail-oriented and observant
- Demonstrates experience in Out-Patient Dental procedures assist
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good organizational skills
- The ability to act quickly and calmly under pressure
