Reliance: Vendor Management Lead

Vendor management is integral to any business, as it involves sourcing the right vendors, developing agreements between both parties, monitoring vendor performance over time, and reassessing the relationship periodically. This will increase our Supplier base nationwide to ensure capturing potential Clients' requirements on time.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • To be able to analyze the Vendor market through network, survey, and statistics
  • Facilitate and maintain good relationships between the organization and vendors/partners.
  • Initiate contract negotiation, especially on common services
  • Create standards for the vendors and find the best available vendors.
  • Accredit Vendor nationwide for different goods and services to ensure effective costing and on-time delivery
  • Manage accredited Vendors and rationalize the supplier base for low-spend requirements (Re-accreditation and Delisting)
  • Develop new Vendors for hard-to-find supplies and services
  • Set Vendor SLAs and evaluate the performance of the top ten(10) Vendor
  • Review and update policies and SOPs based on industry best practices


Background and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required - Engineering, Supply Management
  • At least five(5) years of relevant work experience in Vendor Management with two(2) years in Supervisory Level
  • Prove track record in Vendor Performance evaluation
  • Wide network of Supplier Database especially in Health Care and/or Construction industries
  • Exposure and experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage
  • Must be willing to work on-site from Monday to Friday in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong City
