Duties and Responsibilities
Master Data Cleansing:
Identify, cleanse, and validate errors in master data to ensure that records are accurate, complete, and consistent across all data platforms.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Client Balance Clean Up:
Reconcile and adjust Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Balances per client.
Data Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement data validation rules, checks, and standards to maintain the integrity of master data. Ensure data adheres to internal guidelines and compliance requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze existing datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and anomalies. Provide insights through reports and visualizations to key stakeholders on data quality and consistency.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with Operations, Finance, IT, SCM to understand data requirements and implement data cleansing strategies that align with business needs.
Data Maintenance & Updates:
Regularly update and maintain master data in various systems (including NetSuite.). Ensure data is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with current business processes.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve the processes used to cleanse and manage master data. Recommend and implement best practices for data governance and quality management.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for data cleansing processes, data quality issues, and resolution strategies. Share insights and solutions with team members and stakeholders.
Background and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accountancy, Office Management, or related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field. Background in Accounting is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office - Excel
Knowledge in NetSuite
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data issues and trends. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
