The Finance Analyst (PHIC) is responsible for ensuring all Philhealth claims of patients are complete, valid, and filed in a timely manner. He/she is also responsible for the coordination regarding all Philhealth related concerns/issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Checks the completeness and accuracy of the details provided in each PhilHealth (PHIC) claim document and analyze variance according to PhilHealth policies;
- Analyzes all PHIC-related data in generated reports and reconcile variances if any;
- Determine patient benefit coverage and ensure utilization does not exceed available benefits;
- Creates monitoring reports necessary for claims filing and other administrative work;
- Update and maintain claim monitoring files and ensure completeness of records; and
- Ensure the correct number of all claims submitted relative to the transactions reported in the financial reports or monitoring files;
- Monitors PHIC collections and prepares reports for the management
- Stay up-to-date to all PHIC memorandums and circulars related to claims benefits
Qualifications
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and Google files
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Preferably with at least 1 year working experience
